Eat big to get big, yeah?  Is that the mantra you’ve been taught?  Ok, why?  Oh don’t worry, now is not the time for quizzes.  But when you’re chugging down that protein shake with 80 grams of protein in it are you at all thinking to yourself “Why am I drinking this?”  Do you think first generation bodybuilders knew that protein was the key to muscle synthesis?  No, even when they ate foods high in protein they didn’t know protein was the factor responsible; just eggs made them stronger.  The ideas and methods that may seem intuitive to you now were magic back then.  We’ll try and humble that mass between your ears, and start everything from the beginning.  Only once a strong foundation is formed can you become an expert.  So, let’s strike two rocks together and scream in fear at what is produced.
